Peter D. Wang, DDS, MS (Periodontist)
After obtaining his Periodontics degree from Columbia University, Dr. Peter Wang founded this practice over 30 years ago with the goal of helping patients improve and maintain their healthy smiles. The continued growth and expansion of the office, originally named “Peter Wang DDS PA,” led to its renaming as JPW Dental. Dr. Peter’s past positions include being the Director of the Implant Department at Columbia University and president of the Chinese American Dental Association. He has lectured globally for several decades and currently serves as the dean of his dental school alma mater, Taipei Medical University, in Taiwan.
Lynn Fan, DDS (General Dentist)
Dr. Lynn Fan received her dental degree from Columbia University and B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society during dental school for her excellent clinical ability. She furthered her experience with a rigorous general practice residency at the Bronx V.A. Medical Center. In her spare time, Dr. Lynn is an avid sports fan who enjoys biking, playing golf, reading, and doing arts and crafts.
Joseph Wang, DDS, MS (Periodontist)
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Biology with University Honors, Dr. Joseph Wang obtained his dental degree from Columbia University, where he was awarded the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Dental Student Award. He then completed a rigorous 3-year Periodontics specialty residency at Columbia to obtain his MS degree. His extensive work during residency led to him receiving various awards, including the Melvin Morris Award for Excellence, given to the top resident of the graduating class. Dr. Joseph’s research study in dental implants led to a First Place award at the annual Birnberg Research Symposium. Dr. Joseph has extensive experience with surgical implant placement, complex extractions, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, gum surgeries, and gum grafting. Currently, Dr. Joseph is also a clinical instructor at Columbia University.
Vivian Yeh, DDS, MS (Prosthodontist)
Dr. Vivian Yeh is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, double-majoring in Biology in Psychology. She then attended Columbia University for dental school, where she received the Columbia CDM Restorative Award. She devoted an additional three years in a post-doctoral graduate program in Prosthodontics, training her to perform a wide range of procedures including complex dental reconstructions, implant prosthetics, complete esthetic smile makeovers, removable dentures, and simple crowns and fillings.
Rebecca Liu, DDS (General Dentist)
Dr. Rebecca Liu attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and received her DDS degree from Columbia University. She then completed her general dentistry residency training at New York Methodist hospital at Park Slope. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
Hannah Han, DDS, MS (Endodontist)
Dr. Hannah Han completed her dental school training at the University of Detroit Mercy. She advanced her training by completing a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. She then specialized in root canal treatment after completing a 2-year Endodontics specialty program at the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Hannah is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and currently holds a faculty position at Montefiore Medical Center. In her spare time, Dr. Hannah enjoys all types of food, cooking, skiing, hiking, art museums, traveling, and exploring New York City.
